Overview
Trane, a business of American Standard Companies, is a worldwide supplier of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and building management equipment, systems and services. Trane is comprised of two groups:
- Trane Commercial Systems provides systems and services for large commercial applications around the world such as hotels, office buildings, hospitals, schools and high-tech manufacturing plants.
- Residential Systems provides heating and cooling products and services for residential applications.
Trane began as a family-owned plumbing business more than a century ago and today employs more than 25,000 people worldwide, markets its products and services in more than 177 countries of the world and has annual sales approaching $5 billion.
